Invitation to Participate
Dear Artist,
We would like to invite you to participate in the East County Art Festival. We want artists who have a diverse selection of high quality art/craft.
The purpose of this annual juried-in event is to promote the art of nationally known and
leading emerging artists in the different media; paint, gourds, sculpture, pottery/ceramics, jewelry, drawing etc.
The festival (which is free to the public) will be held in the Nursery's Garden at Cuyamaca College. You will have the opportunity to meet hundreds of potential customers and/or collectors in a creative location for artistic exhibitions. One 10' x 10' booth is $125.00 or 10' x20' booth is $225.00. The Jury fee is $10.00 and non-refundable (separate check).
You also will receive a Free listing on this website. We will list the Artist’s name, business name, short description and a photo of your artwork. For the artist who has a website, we also will provided a Free link to your website (the cost on this special ad with other shows is between $25 and $75). With this link to your website, you will be able to reach customers who are unable to attend and make them aware of your art pieces so they can contact you directly.
In an effort to promote your art, we will be holding a silent auction during the Art Festival.
The artist sets the minimum bid and will keep 70% of the proceeds. The remaining 30% will be shared with Cuyamaca College. If you would like to participate, please check the box on the aplication. We will collect the art before the show begins.
To ensure that we only have the best artists participating, this is a juried-in art festival. Please be sure to send or email pictures of your art/craft along with your application. Applications without pictures will not be considered. The deadline is November 5, 2010.
