One 10' x 10' booth is $125.00 or 10' x 20' booth is $225.00.

This is an Application Agreement between East County Art Festival (herein known as ECAF) and those parties who wish to exhibit and/or sell at ECAF, to be held at Cuyamaca College on November 13 and 14, 2010. (Agreement also covers vendor set-up on Friday, November 12, 2010). ECAF reserves the right to bar items or exhibits that are deemed hazardous, inappropriate or in bad taste. East County Art Festival and staff reserves the right to disqualify any exhibitor for failure to comply with rules and regulations. I understand that East County Art Festival reserves the right to make final interpretation of all rules. Original art work only:  Vendors/exhibitors agree to sell only those items/merchandise described on page one of this application. You are promising to sell only items made by you, unless approved prior to the festival!  If you do not comply with this requirement, you will be asked to remove the items from your display and you may not be accepted into future East County Art Festivals.  East County Art Festival, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, affiliates, and  the Nursery at Cuyamaca College accept no responsibility for loss/accidents/injury/damages. East County Art Festival retains the right to use photographic images of artists and/or their artwork for advertising and promotion purposes only. East County Art Festival reserves the right to refuse registration to anyone for any reason. All decisions are made ultimately at the discretion of the East County Art Festival. Vendors/exhibitors shall accept total responsibility for their exhibit area with regards to safety, fire, theft, accident, or injury to themselves or the public. Cancellations: Written notice of cancellation must be received from vendor/exhibitor by ECAF no later than November 5,2010. This contract is non-cancelable and non-transferable after the refund date. There is a $25 fee for all returned checks. A $20 processing fee shall be deducted from vendors refund. No refunds after November 5, 2010. East County Art Festival, Rosario Wilke, Kristy Dial, Cuyamaca College, Nursery, employees and agents assume no responsibility for any property brought onto the premises. This agreement releases the above parties and their agents from liability because of any loss or damage to such property, whatsoever the cause. Should “Acts of God” or other unforeseen calamity cause the festival to be cancelled, immediate notice will be given all vendors/exhibitors. A refund of all monies paid in advance will be mailed to vendor/exhibitor within 30 days. ECAF and Cuyamaca College Nursery are fully committed to hosting this event, but shall not be liable for claims of lost profits, business, or any other damage if the festival is cancelled or rescheduled. Tax Information: California Sales Tax is 9.75%. It shall be the individual vendor/exhibitor’s legal responsibility to collect and report such tax as appropriate. To apply for a resale license, go to: http://www.boe.ca.gov/info/reg.htm As a participant in the East County Art Festival, November 13 and 14, 2010, to the extent permitted by law, I hereby indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of ECAF, Cuyamaca Nursery, Cuyamaca College, their agents and employees, against any loss, cost, damage, personal injuries including death, judgment or liability of any kind including legal expenses, which the said parties may suffer by reason or arising from this event which will be held at the Nursery, Cuyamaca College, El Cajon, CA I have read, understand and agree to comply with the rules set forth for East County Art Festival I CERTIFY THAT I WILL BE PRESENT, and all work to be displayed is original work or reproductions of original work DONE BY ME.  (Original work means “NO copies from magazines, books, online images, or photographs taken by someone else.”)
